AVALA is committed to ethical standards and conducting business in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Any individuals affiliated with AVALA, e.g., team members, vendors, etc., have a duty to report any alleged, suspicious, or known noncompliance with laws, rules, regulations, code of conduct, or policies and procedures.  

The report may be made anonymously by submitting the information below.  If an individual does not want to be anonymous, the individual may call the Executive Director of Compliance at 985.801.6288.

No retaliatory action will be taken against any individual who, in good faith, raised concerns or reported alleged, suspicious, or known noncompliance events.  Any individual who engages in retaliation, intimidation, or harassment of a reporting individual will be subject to disciplinary action. 

Examples of possible compliance violations may include and are not limited to:

  • Breach of Compliance Policies
  • Conflicts of Interest
  • Corruption
  • Fraud
  • Theft
  • Inappropriate Gifts & Entertainment
  • Breaches of Confidentiality
  • Bribery & Kickbacks
  • False Patient Billings / Falsification of Official Documents
  • HIPAA violations
  • Retaliation
