AVALA, one of two hospitals in the nation with the Advanced Orthopedic and Spine Center of Excellence Designation from DNV with four advanced certifications. This designation affirms our organization’s excellence in the provision of diagnostic services, surgical services, and therapies related to orthopedic and spine care. To achieve this designation, AVALA underwent a rigorous survey process that assessed its clinical and operational capabilities.
SPINE SURGERY
ADVANCED SPINE SURGERY CERTIFICATION
The Advanced Spine Surgery Certification program recognizes AVALA as being committed to providing high-quality spine surgery care. This certification is awarded to organizations that meet or exceed national standards for the delivery of spine surgery care, including inpatient, outpatient, and same-day elective surgery, as well as minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) procedures.
ADVANCED HIP & KNEE CERTIFICATION
The Advanced Hip & Knee Replacement Surgery Certification recognizes that AVALA is highly skilled in orthopedic surgery, particularly hip and knee replacements. This certification affirms AVALA’s diagnostic and surgical services, including therapies related to hip and knee replacement care.
