Covington, Louisiana – AVALA announces that Becker’s Healthcare has named them one of Louisiana’s top recommended hospitals! Out of the fourteen Louisiana hospitals mentioned, AVALA is proud to be featured as one among several excellent healthcare institutions, further displaying our commitment to top-quality healthcare with a calming spa-like environment.
The clinical and non-clinical teams are integral to how AVALA continues to provide high-quality care. These individuals strive for excellence, putting AVALA’s core values of innovation, collaboration, and quality care at the forefront of all we do – restoring trust between physicians, patients, and team members by cultivating a culture of “YES,” elevating the healthcare experience.
AVALA’s technology also helps them stand out from the rest. With three Stryker Mako robots that aid their surgeons during total joint procedures and the Globus Medical ExcelsiusGPS robot for spine procedures. With the help of robotic-assisted surgery, AVALA’s surgeons can provide more accurate placement of implants, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery times. Providing this type of accuracy in surgery helps AVALA stand out from the rest.
Lastly, AVALA’s patients are the most crucial reason to make it possible to be featured on this list. For every patient who walks through AVALA’s doors, connects via the website, or messages via social media, AVALA strives to provide patients with a level of service and care you cannot find anywhere else. It is evident that AVALA genuinely appreciates its community members!

CMS shares 10 HCAHPS star ratings based on publicly reported HCAHPS measures. The recommended hospital star rating is based on patients’ responses to the question, “Would you recommend this hospital to your friends and family?” Hospitals must have at least 100 completed HCAHPS surveys in a fourth-quarter period to be eligible for a star rating.
The star rating is based on survey data collected from hospital patients from October 2021 through September 2022. The figures are from CMS’ Provider Data Catalog and were released on July 26.
