DR. JASON FAUCHEUX JOINS AVALA PHYSICIAN NETWORK

COVINGTON, LOUISIANA – The AVALA Physician Network is excited to welcome Jason Faucheux, D.O., to its newest Covington, AVALA Care clinic. Dr. Faucheux will lead AVALA’s expansion into primary care services for the people of south Louisiana. Dr. Faucheux is an Osteopathic Family Medicine physician, ready to meet the patients of St. Tammany Parish and its surrounding communities. Dr. Faucheux offers various services, including annual wellness and physical exams, immunizations, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions such as blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes management. Dr. Jason Faucheux is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). A D.O. is a fully licensed physician trained in the latest medical technology and care in addition to special training in the musculoskeletal system, applying Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) to care. Osteopathy emphasizes the importance of identifying and addressing the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction rather than simply treating the symptoms.

After proudly serving his country for 3-and-a-half years as an Air Force Physician, Dr. Faucheux is coming home to help the people of his home state, parish, and surrounding communities. He is a proud St. Paul’s School alumnus. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University – College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Orlando, FL.

Dr. Faucheux will begin seeing patients on February 5th, 2024.
